Sales & Business Development Specialist 

A Sales & Business Development Specialist with Bergstrom Pioneer Leasing is responsible for all  sales aspects of the growth and development of our fleet portfolio from lead generation and prospect management to the acquisition and roll out of new vehicle fleets. This individual is also the driving force in heightening the presence of Bergstrom Pioneer Leasing in the Appleton / Green Bay / Oshkosh markets.

  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new fleet accounts 
  • Determine guest needs and propose appropriate service needs to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction 
  • Meet or exceed the new business sales projections to grow fleet base by unit count & portfolio mix  
  • Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and followup appointments, presentations and roll outs  
  • Design and conduct sales proposals/presentations customized to each audience; follow up with key decision makers  
  • Demonstrate cost effectiveness and efficiency of our fleet?s vehicle programs 
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of BPL services and pricing structure 
  • Continual research to maintain a basic familiarity with most all makes and models of vehicles; Ability to spec, compare, determine strength of application, develop recommendation lists and corresponding programs 
  • Continual updating and familiarity with our fuel and maintenance programs, GPS/telematics programs so as to be able to provide our prospective guests, our fleet managers and drivers with the most updated information and train to the best processes and practices 
  • Maintain strong existing relationships by working with fleet managers on program management (selection of vehicle, associated costs, lifecycle analysis), recommended changes and upgrades as well as day to day questions and issues  
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with existing fleet partners  
  • Handling guest questions, issues and concerns
Qualifications: Good driving record & one year experience in outside business to business sales
Position Structure: Salaried position; Reports directly to General Manager
