Giving back has become an integral part of corporate culture, and the driving force behind this culture is Bergstrom's founder and CEO, John F. Bergstrom. Each year, Bergstrom Automotive contributes a significant amount of income and leadership to the communities in which we live and work.
Make-a-Wish Foundation
For the last ten years, Bergstrom has helped grant wishes to terminally ill children throughout Northeastern Wisconsin. Over 70 kids have had their wishes granted - mostly trips to Disney World or interactions with the Green Bay Packers!
Bergstrom Drive for the Cure
In 2009, Bergstrom began an initiative to raise funds for research for the cure of breast cancer. This annual one-day event brings in tens of thousands of dollars and countless volunteer hours from our many dealerships.
United Way
Bergstrom Automotive contributes hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to help the United Way of the Fox Cities. Bergstrom's support includes speaking at the campaign kick-off each year and other board involvement.
Fox Cities Performing Arts Center
Bergstrom Automotive was one of the first and largest contributors to the construction of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Mr. Bergstrom remains as a board member and Chairman Emeritus.
Marquette Dental School
As a member of the Marquette Medical College Board, John F. Bergstrom led a successful effort to fund and build the Marquette Dental School. This state-of-the-art facility is the only school of its kind in the state of Wisconsin.
Theda Clark Medical Center ThedaStar Helicopter
Bergstrom Automotive has made significant contributions to Theda Clark to provide and maintain a new medical transportation service. ThedaStar Air Medical provides helicopter transports and transfers for trauma patients and critically ill patients.
